Catholic
Concentration in Bioethics & Health Policy Programs
The
Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy now offers a
concentration in Catholic healthcare ethics. These concentrations can be
earned within the Doctoral Degree (D.Bioethics) Program, Masters Degree
(M.A.) Program, Certificate
Program. Courses in the concentration provide
students with a foundation in the Catholic moral tradition and Canon law,
examine the tradition's application of these commitments in the clinical
setting, and survey major religious traditions as they inform diverse,
religious perspectives in bioethics.
Requirements for completing the Catholic concentration in the Doctoral
Degree, Masters Degree and Certificate programs are outlined below.
Doctoral Degree in Bioethics and Health Policy
with a Catholic Concentration
The Doctoral Degree in
Bioethics and Health Policy with a Catholic Concentration requires a total
of fifty-seven (57) credits, twelve (12) credits of which must be fulfilled by the
following:
Masters Degree in Bioethics and Health Policy
with a Catholic Concentration
The Masters Degree in
Bioethics and Health Policy with a Catholic Concentration requires a total
of thirty (30) credits, nine (9) credits of which must be fulfilled by the
following:
Certificate in Bioethics and Health Policy
with a Catholic Concentration
The Certificate in
Bioethics and Health Policy with a Catholic Concentration requires a total
of twelve (12) credits.
